Theme: 

"The Church That Kept Moving Up To The Next Level."       

   Scriptures: 2nd Peter 3:18; Acts 1:8 

But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen.

 (2nd Peter 3:18). 

 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth 

(Acts 1:8).

Our theme this year will motivate us to move up or grow up to the next levels of ministry in our church. The twelve levels that we will move up to in 2023 are leadership, worship, discipleship, stewardship, fellowship, friendship, relationship, membership, scholarship, mentorship, citizenship, and Lordship. We will be preaching and teaching about these levels of growth and development and providing activities to accomplish these goals. The two key scriptures are taken from 2nd Peter 3:18; Acts 1:8. All our annual days will draw from this theme. Our new theme will make us dream and work hard at what we can become and accomplish in 2023. 

For 169 years, Greater Liberty Baptist Church has been a witness in the city of New Orleans for our community and the world. This Strategic Plan document captures the Strategic Vision, Goals and Objectives of our church along with the Strategies to achieve them. This plan will be used to guide and focus project planning activities and to communicate the vision and goals to inspire, encourage, motivate, and engage the support of our members and the community.
